Beyonce Makes Surprise Appearance at AFI Gala

Last night at the Dolby Theater stars came out to honor Denzel Washington at his AFI Life Achievement Award ceremony, but there was a surprise guest and her name is Beyonce.

She was there to show support for Melina Matsoukas who served as the director for her “Formation” music video and other tv shows.

“I texted her days ago and she didn’t get back to me,” Melina said as she took the stage in shock. “She truly inspires me. She taught me how to work, how to dream, how to achieve, and how to take control of your own narrative.”
