Tina Knowles Highlights Beyoncé’s History of Cowboy Culture

Tina Knowles tells fans her family has always supported “Cowboy Culture.” Knowles posted on Instagram a photo showing Beyoncé and Destiny Child’s cowboy-style roots. “We have always celebrated Cowboy Culture growing up in Texas,” Tina wrote on Instagram. “We also always understood that it was not just about it belonging to white culture only. In Texas, there is a huge black cowboy culture.” Many, including “The Have and Have Nots” actor John Schneider, criticized Beyoncé for “imposing” on country music.  Her songs, “Texas Hold’em” and “16 Carriages,” are currently going for a spot on radio playlists at country stations nationwide.
