The Stylish Taste Bud: BananaNut Bread / Topped with BananaCreme Drizzle and Walnuts

INGREDIENTS (Yields One Loaf Pan)

  • 2 or 3 very ripe bananas, peeled and mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter(Salted Butter )
  • 1 teaspoon of Baking Soda
  • 3/4 cup sugar (Light Brown Sugar)
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
  • 1 Teaspoon of Banana Extract
  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • Shelled Walnuts

GLAZE

  • 1 Cup of Confectioners Sugar
  • 1 TableSpoon (Half Banana Extract , Half Vanilla Extract)
  • Crushed Walnuts

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F, Grease Loaf Pan, Set Aside
  • Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until completely smooth ADD melted butter into the mashed bananas.
  • Mix in the baking soda, BROWN sugar, beaten egg,
  • ADD Extracts and Cinnamon
  • Mix in the flour.
  • Mix in Walnuts
  • Pour batter into Loaf Pan
  • Bake for 50 minutes to 1 Hour
  • Let Cool
  • Top with Glaze and Crushed Walnuts
