The Roots Picnic Goes Virtual The Roots aren’t going to let some pandemic get in the way of their annual picnic.
This year’s 13th annual Roots Picnic is going virtual. It was originally scheduled for May 30th.
The event will join up with Michelle Obama’s When We All Vote campaign. H.E.R., Roddy Ricch, SZA, Kirk Franklin, D-Nice, Snoh Aalegra, Lil Baby, and Musiq Soulchild are scheduled to perform. The Roots Picnic will stream live on YouTube on Saturday, June 27th starting at 8:00 pm Eastern. What is the best-streamed concert you’ve seen during the pandemic?
