Texts Show Timeline of Kobe Bryant Helicopter Crash

The National Transportation Safety Board has released thousands of documents in connection to the helicopter crash that killed Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and other passengers.

Before and during flights Kobe would have group texts with personnel and the texts reveal that weather was a concern before the flight.

According to text messages, the pilot, Ara Zoboyan, may have become disoriented while flying the helicopter in thick fog and reported that he was climbing when in reality he was descending toward a hillside.

The report all but confirms earlier findings that the helicopter was functional, but still doesn’t give a clear picture of what actually caused the helicopter crash that killed all passengers.
