‘Queen Sugar’ Ending Next Year

After seven seasons, Queen Sugar is coming to an end.

“It’s a radical act that it lasted this long,” said creator Ava Duvernay.

The series, set in Louisiana, is based on a novel of the same name and tells the story of the three Bordelon kids and their extended family.

The final season is expected to have 13 episodes and premiere sometime next year.
