LeBron James Discusses Retirement with Drake On “The Shop”

While Drake isn’t planning to retire anytime soon, he knows one day his time to hang up the microphone will come. The Toronto rapper sat down with his friend LeBron James to discuss his future and legacy for the basketball superstar’s HBO series “The Shop”.

James shared a preview of the upcoming episode to his Instagram, in which Drizzy admits that his biggest concern is finding a way to “exit gracefully” from his career. (NSFC VIDEO BELOW)

“I’ve watched people overstay their welcome, and I just don’t ever want to be that guy,” Drake reveals.

According to James, surrounding yourself with honest people is important because they “keep it real with you” and will let you know when it’s time.

How do you know when it’s time for you to go? Did you set a timetable or was it just a feeling?

The full episode of “The Shop” airs Friday, Oct. 12, at 9:30 p.m. ET on HBO.
