Labor Day Airline Travel Was The Biggest In Six Months

The number of people taking to the skies over Labor Day weekend was the most for airlines since the pandemic started in March.

TSA reports that over 968,000 people were screened on Friday alone. That was the highest single-day number since March 16th.

Around 3.3 million passengers passed through TSA checkpoints from Friday through Monday.

That number is down 60 percent from Labor Day 2019.
