Ice Cube Seeks Help to Buy Sports Network

Ice Cube is continuing his bid for Fox regional sports networks through his BIG3 Basketball League and hopefully other investors.

Cube’s league is currently on FS1 and Fox, and Cube believes that he could offer different possibilities for programming if he were to purchase the networks. The problem is Disney is looking for $20 billion for the networks.

Cube’s hope is that with the help of investors he can make a bid of $15 billion, and he’s already approached Viacom, they declined but did offer to help with programming.

Do you think that Ice Cube will be able to pull off this network purchase? If you owned a sports network, what type of programming would you have on the station?
