We can thank Carter G. Woodson for weaving African-Americans into the fabric of history in the United States.
We’ve come a long way from “Negro History Week” to Black History Month. Although it’s nice to have a month in which to be recognized, the contributions of African Americans should be naturally celebrated each day.
