Don’t Call Mary J. Blige “Auntie”
Some Mary J. Blige fans have resorted to calling her “Auntie.” She isn’t feeling it.
Speaking with Hip Hollywood, Blige said, “Why can’t I just be your sister? There’s women that are like, way older than me calling me ‘Auntie.’ C’mon.”
Blige continued saying, “Can I just be your sister?”
Making the point stick, Blige went on to say, “Not if you’re 10 years older than me, please don’t call me ‘Auntie.'”
