COLUMBIA’S 10 YEAR OLD DELTON MYERS WRITES BOOK BRINGING AWARENESS TO CHILDHOOD DEPRESSION

Delton Myers is only 10 years old and hes one of the youngest writers, publishers and authors. He attends school right here in the midlands. Delton has always been a quiet yet smart and attentive young man. He was always somewhat of an observer. He was the one that would really feel sorry for the mistreated and what is known as bullies. Delton decided to write down his feelings and what was on his mind at a very young age. His mother Deidre Jeffcoat who was a single mom with Delton until she was blessed with a wonderful husband who stepped up to the plate as not only a husband but a great father. Delton has always been an honor roll student, and it was always acknowledge. When his mom started to read the things that he expressed and decided that it was good enough to share with the world, and from that we have ” THE INVISIBLE INJURY” This book speaks on depression that is not always seen from the outside. Delton was the keynote speaker at the State House in Columbia rallying against BULLIES. Delton is proof that you are never to young to help someone. With this book he hopes to make parents more aware of this silent killer that is sometime unnoticed. CONGRATULATIONS DELTON FOR YOUR GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT.
