Billionaire Paying Off Loans for 2019 Morehouse Graduating Class

Billionaire Robert Smith was the guest speaker at Morehouse College’s commencement ceremony and he gave the class of 2019 a gift they will never forget.

That gift was that he announced he was going to pay everyone’s student loans at a cost of an estimated $40 million dollars.

If you wondering how Smith got his riches, he’s the founder and CEO of Vista Equity Partners, a firm that invests in software, data and tech companies.

Smith received an honorary doctorate from Morehouse for speaking to the graduating class.
