Alicia Keys Producing Netflix Romantic Comedy

Grammy award-winning recording artist Alicia Keys is taking her talent to the screen once again.

Keys will produce a yet-untitled romantic comedy for Netflix.

The comedy will star singer and actress Christina Milian, Jay Pharoah formerly of Saturday Night Live and actor and former baller Sinqua Walls. The comedy centers around an aspiring singer who unknowingly books a gig at her ex-fiancé’s wedding tries to keep their past relationship from the bride-to-be and discovers she still has feelings for her ex.

The movie will be produced through Key’s AK Worldwide label and will be filmed in Mauritius. This is not Keys’ first time producing for Netflix. She served as a producer for the film Work It.
