Airport Security Scanners Single Out Black Women Because of Their Hair

Black women at airports are getting harassed in disproportionate numbers because of their hair.

A TSA officer said the scanner alarms more because black women have thicker hair due to dreadlocks and braids.

While it may appear to be discrimination against black women it is TSA complying with the rules of their training.

Once the alarm goes off a pat down is required.
