A Georgia Church and T.I Bail Out Nonviolent Offenders

A partnership between T,I., Lil Scrappy from “Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta, and The New Birth Missionary Church helped release 23 first-time offenders from jail just before the Easter Holiday. The church had a goal to raise $40.000 at the start of Lent. The church exceeded the goal and raised $120,000 to help bring seven women and sixteen men home. The program which is called “BAIL OUT” intends to not just get these people out of jail.The program will also connect the offenders with mentors and set up college funds for their kids.
