Who Needs a Gender-Reveal Cake When You Can Have Elaborate Gender-Reveal Nails?
For the past few years, gender-reveal parties have been a big thing, you’ve seen people do it with balloons, snow and even hitting baseballs but new gender-reveal nails may take the cake, literally.
A nail tech named Marsha from Trend Setters Hair Studio in Cincinnati wanted to give her co-worker a gender-reveal she would never forget. “My coworker Sherice is expecting her second child. She wanted me to do some gender-reveal nails because she had never seen any before,” Marsha told POPSUGAR.
Marsha used her co-worker’s cousin as a model as to not let the new mom know if she was having a boy or a girl. The nails were painted blue and pink and a tiny cake was attached to the top of the middle finger.
Once the cake was lit, sparks flew and blue smoke billowed out of the cake, revealing that the parents would soon have a baby boy.
