Curtis joined WWDM as Morning host in August of 1991 he switched to nights and weekends with The Big DM after joining WLTX-TV as their morning anchor. He is a broadcast veteran who spent 24-years in radio before making the move to television. Curtis was the host and producer of the top rated Curtis & Company Morning Show at The Big DM, WWDM. Born in Brooklyn N.Y, Curtis is a graduate of The NY School of Announcing and Speech for Broadcasting and is a graduate of Benedict College with a degree in Mass Communications. Curtis is very involved in The Midlands community. He's a member of 100 Black Men of Greater Columbia along with Palmetto Grand Masonic Lodge. Curtis works with Harvest Hope Food Bank, Sickle Cell Foundation, United Black Fund, American Red Cross, Oliver Gospel Mission, United Way, Columbia Urban League and many other organizations. Curtis is involved with helping kids too. His work with The Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services is aimed at reducing the usage of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs in the teen community. Curtis is also known as the "Official Voice of the Benedict College Tigers," announcing the football and basketball programs.
