BROADWAY PRODUCTION OF RUDOLPH THE RED NOSE REINDEER LANDS IN COLUMBIA

Even though all the children love the classic movie Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer, I believe I had the biggest smile on my face. As I sat and watched the production it took me back to my childhood days. The production was at the Township Auditorium and it was filled with families who were just as excited as I was about the event. Watching the children get excited about Rudolph getting to glide the sleigh for Santa was such a joy. They sang all the songs and even had a chance to engage with the characters on stage. One thing I did noticed was that there was a form of bullying in this classic, which was brought to my attention by my 2 year old grand daughter. She said, “MiMi they are bullies!!” I have never looked at it that way but they really did bully Rudolph.  All of the kids were dressed in all of their Christmas attire and even some parents. This classic never gets old even for a big kid such as myself.  Overall I gave this performance a 10!! I was awesome and I look forward to seeing it again next year!
